I have to admit that Monday was a mostly unproductive day...as far as writing goes. I couldn't focus and unfortunately found myself basically clearing out my DVR instead of working. It was very disheartening to me. But later that night I found an ounce of 'can do' and finished out the day with some sense of accomplishment.
Tuesday was a different story...I woke up and hit the ground running, and the productivity didn't stop until I went to sleep. And I made it a point not to go to bed in the middle of the night (on the next day) either. It was Tuesday when I woke up and Tuesday when I went to sleep. Which was a great thing.
I even had dinner at a friends house as we pseudo-celebrated his promotion at his job where he is now the Director of Sales and Marketing. He says he's un-qualified, but it's still cool...he gets to go to all the big Film festivals like Canne, and Berlin and Toronto. He's happy because although it's not the direction on the industry he thought he would go in, he can see him self growing with the company and he likes his boss...which is GREAT! I thank God for his blessings on my friends...and not to negate how amazing this accomplishment at this point in his life is, but I can't WAIT to see what AMAZING things God has in store for me!!!
Yesterday I also got a temporary job offer...though it's not in the industry and has nothing to do with Film/TV. I have some thinking to do about it...but until I make a decision, just lift it up in prayer. Stay tuned.
