Whatever the reason, I was a little beat yesterday. I did do some work mixed in with random stuff like cleaning out my purses...but I completely missed updating the blog on the birthday festivities...so here it is.

In the morning, I was just a bit sad when I thought about Erika (which I normally do in the morning)...but I just thought of her catching some big waves in heaven and that made me feel better. I figured if she was having a good time, then so would I.

After doing my normal morning stuff...read, workout, blah, blah, blah...I went to the Getty Museum. Its one of the 'must dos' in LA, and in two years I have never made the time to go...well, all I have to say is that I wish I had. It is so beautiful and so much to see. And the best part is that it is free...you only have to pay for parking.

After the museum I went shopping for something to wear to my 'girl's night' out dinner, but didn't find anything I liked, so I just went with something in the closet. We went to a place called Rock Sugar, which is a swanky Asian-fusion restaurant, and it was good.

Three of the girls didn't make it, so Delaware, 6-1(she is one of my work friends who I have not given a code name for; she is super tall, so 6-1 it is) and myself had a good time. The Actress got off work later than she thought but she was able to meet us at the Cheesecake Factory for dessert.
All in all it was a very nice day and I look forward to the birthday party this weekend.
In the meantime, I press on looking for more work!
