This week was packed full of interesting little events, as it happens to be on set. But, for the sake of getting to bed, I will only focus on three.
A good cursing out...
I didn't do the cursing, and (thank the Lord) I didn't do anything to warrant a cussin'. But it was kinda funny. I was trying to keep people on my side if the stage quiet, because for what ever reason, noise was traveling more than usual. Long story short, some dude gave me attitude, nd when I was asked why it so loud on my side, I told the AD crew about it via walkie, and The AD (in charge) said to the next in charge in our group "Tell whoever is giving Angel sh** to f***off." Good times.

A Hundred Horses...
This week's field challenge was at a place called Norco...also known as horse county here. Without going into detail about the challenge, I will say that the highlight of the day was seeing 100 cowboys and cowgirls riding down a mountain trial...and then getting to hold various horses as the riders went to do what they came to do. I got paid to be involved with two of my moat favorite things: show biz and horses. They day couldn't have been better.
Side note about that day...they hired a helicopter for the day, which is always cool, to get aerial shots of the horses and a banner they put on top of an arena that cost about $8,000 to put up there. Oh the priorities.
A long weekend...
As it turned out one of the hosts went out of town for the Easter holiday, which meant that the production for the most part went dark (no work). So, I spent my king weekend taking out my braids (which was over a day's worth of work,) went to church, enjoyed a solo Easter meal, picked up Delaware from the airport, and did some reading. My long weekend still has a day to go, so tomorrow I will do some writing...and my nails...just because my time is limited these days, doesn't mean I should let my nails suffer.
All in all, a good week.
A note about the pics...
On the hilly ones, the little site at the top are horses coming through the mountain trails.
